We loved being on Mt. Nebo. I wasn’t prepared for all the goosebumps as we saw the Dead Sea and our guide pointed to where Jerusalem was located. It made want to visit Israel.

We, too, loved Mt. Nebo, and found it much more moving than expected. I was not expecting to have an emotional response but it is remarkable to be in a place that has so much historic religious significance (and I'm not at all religious!).

Thank you again for putting so much work into your trip report. I greatly appreciated being able to relive our trip in January 2020 because of your magnificent report.
Highlights for us were Luxor and Aswan/ Abu Simbel. We were on a boat that pulled right up to Abu Simbel, a good alternative.
Happy Travels, progol!

Thanks so much, HappyTrvlr! I appreciate your kind words. True, it does take a lot of work to create the trip report, but I’ll admit that I love going through it, too! It’s wonderful to be able to relive the trip so I’m happy that it gives you a similar pleasure. That was one of the most mind-blowing trips we’ve taken, affectionately known as our “pinch-me” trip!
