Hi guys-

I am finally ready to put the <b><font color="red">NEW AND IMPROVED</font></b><font color="black"> East Africa trip report index up on the board - I have gone through it and:

-put it in date order
-added names of lodges/camps where everyone stayed
-bolded the tour operators
-listed the parks &amp; lodges/camps as opposed to having it in the body
-put the photo link (where applicable) underneath the thread link

I though Julian did sucha fabulous job of the SA Index last week that I thought I had better finish!

If your trip report isn't in there yet and you went in May/June/July - don't worry - I am still reading!!! If you went before that &amp; it's not in there, then plese let me know on this thread and I will print it out and rectify that!

And, if anyone has the index as a bookmark, please change it to the new one - which will hopefully be the next thread above this one - if all goes well!!</font>

And I could learn to spell, couldn't I..... or at least read over my work before posting...

Great job on the index. Now why can't the indexes (is that the plural?) be a sticky that would always stay at the top, like other forums?

Time, Sandy - hmmmm that was between three and four in the morning over the last few months - I started it before we went on our trip! I am SUCH an orgainizer though, I just HAD to do it! Now I must get back to my trip report as not only am I such an orgainzer, but I MUST finish whatever I start too! Pole pole, you know what they say....

Marty- a 'sticky' - I honestly NEVER knew what that was until the lightbulb just came on when I read your post! I always thought that it was a warning that it was 'sticky' subject - but now I see - it's like a postie note right? But yes, a good idea - I wonder if we could get Fodors to do that with the two indexes....

I'm not sure if the Fodors format supports stickies. I thought about that this morning too. It would be great if they did (and also an edit function).

FABULOUS JOB. Right before you first posted the index, I had the same thought about creating one and started to work on it a little--but you posted before I had anything worth sharing. At first I was a little disappointed that you beat me to the punch (especially once all of the accolades began to pour in)--but now I am glad it was you because you have done a much better job than I would have and I would have bailed by now.
