Turkish Air has a o/w flight from Cairo to Istanbul for 261 Euros. Royal Jordan Airlines also flies that route and I think it is cheaper--but stops in Amman. I'm looking at using FF miles to fly to Istanbul and buying a ticket onward to Cairo for next year.

Jane,
You might want to check out Egyptair - it's a non-stop leaving Cairo at 12:10 and arriving Istanbul 2:10 PM.
I can't tell you the price, as it's embedded in my whole trip - including the DFW to Cairo and Prague to DFW plus 2 additional one-way flights. ($1558.36 for total - which I'm trying to beat)
Good luck.

Hello,
I'm still hunting for that elusive affordable one-way ticket from Cairo to Istanbul.
So I'm hoping for some new readers to this thread and hopefully a break-through.
Turkish air is coming in at $943.85 for 2 people, and we can't do that.
But we really really want to come to Cairo.
Help?
