Cairo Airport Lounges

I was wondering... my internal flights around Egypt and to Jordan are in economy. Is there a lounge you can pay to use? Like what you get if you travel business class?

Here's a site where you can book lounges in Terminals 1 and 3......

Hi Elizabeth.... thank you. It only mentions the international airport unfortunately. I'll be using this when I depart, however, it's no good for my internal flights. I asked this as I was reading a trip report about their experiences at the airport (& bathrooms!). I thought it might be a bit tidier in the lounges.

MissGreen, I'm a little unclear -- as far as I know, there is only one airport in Cairo. Our international flights and our internal flights all came and went from the same airport.

I assume that the lounge would be AFTER passport control... which means you have to be travelling internatinally to get in to that section. Perhaps I am wrong?

Oh, sorry, I was referring to the part of your post where you said "it only mentions the international airport...." I thought you meant you were traveling from a different airport, not just a different terminal!

Miss Green-the Cairo airport for both international and domestic seemed quite nice to our family. It seemed modern with various eating areas,ATM's gift shops, etc.I used the bathrooms in both terminal areas and did not find anything wrong?
Anyway,if I fail to talk to you before you leave for your trip-have a wonderful time and I hope that all goes well!
