Botswana Camps Map?

Hello. Is anyone aware of a website or hardcopy map of Botswana that identifies the locations of *most* of the camps that are so often spoken of here? I have the "Globetrotter Travel Map of Botswana" published by New Holland (4th edition, date not stated), which does show a total of 20 or so camps, but it is not very detailed and not very complete... Many thanks...

The maps by Veronica Roodt (www.veronicaroodt.co.za). The Okavango Delta & Linyanti Map is especially made for fly-in tourists.

In the US you can by them at Omni Resources (www.omnimap.com/catalog/int/botswana.htm).

Take a look at this:
http://www.eyesonafrica.net/african-...ana-safari.htm

Click on the region you are interested in and all of the camps are shown.

Hi
yes the Shell maps (by Veronica Roodt) are available for purchase in the UK through Expert Africa - if you send a cheque and SAE. Alternatively Google Earth has some marked on, which are from Tracks 4 Africa. If you have a Garmin GPS unit which comes with Mapsource Software go to Tracks 4 Africa website (http://www.tracks4africa.com) where you can buy T4A Maps Pro Botswana. You can load this onto the PC and synchronize with your GPS unit so you then have the Botswana maps on the unit; This is what we did and it really was brilliant. The campsites were all marked, down to the detail of individual pitches. The Bradt guide is also very good.
Kind regards
WD

Omni Resources deliver world-wide. European orders take less than a week, no cheques or SAEs required.

You can order Veronica Roodt's maps also at www.netbooks.co.za in SA.
