best way to fly from Serengeti to Zanzibar
am going to be staying at Migration Camp and then heading to Zanzibar...can anyone recommend which is better: taking the flight from Seronera to JRO and then connecting to the flight to Zanzibar (Precision), or taking the flight from Lobo (which I believe stops in Arusha and then goes onto Zanzibar? am not sure which option is best....the JRO flight is probably on a bigger plane...
any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks!

Whatever flights you choose, just be sure of the departure airport in Arusha. We were scheduled to fly from Seronera to Arusha, then out of Arusha on ZanAir. For whatever reason, ZanAir changed the flight to JRO and even scheduled it 45 minutes earlier. Even though they had not booked the flight, Kibo noted this and booked us on a flight from Arusha to JRO so that we could make our ZanAir flight. This is the second time we've had flights moved from Arusha to JRO, so keep a close watch on them if you're scheduled out of Arusha to ZNZ.

Lobo is closer to Migration Camp.
Seronera is just too far.
Some flights whether from Klein's or Lobo airstrips stop Arusha, others at JRO for connection to Zanzibar.
TZ - are you booking the flights? or your tour operator? If the latter, I'd suggest you leave it to the TO, based on schedule and available seats to handle the booking. Also, if there are any schedule changes, it would be best the TO be the intermediary.
