What do you think is the best sun screen and the best bug spray? Do these "fight" with clothes that are treated with "buzz-off" or treated for UV protection?

Oooh, good question. I am particularly concerned about the toxicity of DEET, as opposed to the possibility of getting malaria, especially since we will be on the Okavango in March. What is the strongest strength DEET that I could use on the kids?
And, do those clothes treatmentr really work? I will probably do them anyway, since it looks easy (throw them in the washer with the treatment) and pretty cheap, at REI.

I found that Bull Frog Mosquito Coast worked well for us in March on our Botswana visit. It is a SPF30 Sunblock with Insect Repellent (Deet Free. In the evenings we used the Peaceful Sleep insect repellent supplied by the camp.
