Beating the Bushdrums..

Sometime in the past two weeks, billionaire Tom Seibel returned from safari having sustained a badly broken leg when charged by an elephant. It is my understanding the safari guide was critically injured. I have been trying to find out information regarding the incident (I take walking safaris and always try to learn from others), and the identity and condition of the safari guide.

Does anyone have any information?

Khakif, no, sorry, I haven't heard about this incident. Have you asked on safaritalk.net as well?

spassvogel, no I don't have information on the elephant at this time - that is what I meant when I wrote that I was looking for information regarding the "incident." I am interested in the whole story (not just the wellfare of the people injured).

All I know is someone was viewing elephant (on foot) from a distance and something happened and an elephant charged.

I can't find a trace of the story online.
