Thank you...after weighing pros anc cons (cost, animal viewing possibilities esp cat family, luxury) came down to a choice between Djuma and Kambaku.....Looking like Kambaku might win! Thanks once again everybody for the insights.

we stayed at elephant plains in sabi sands for a couple of nights in october and were very pleased with the whole experience.... we saw tons of game and the whole experience was nice... loved the smaller size of the facility...

We stayed at Ngala tented camp,Djuma vuyetela and Nkorho lodges last October.We had excellent game viewing,the grass was low and we only had one day of rain(last 2 weeks of October).The main advantage of the private game reserves over the Kruger is you can travel off road.We even got to run with a 20 wild dog pack on a chase.You can get unbelievably close to the animals.Have fun
