Back from Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya
Hi Everyone-
I arrived home last night from Gorilla trekking in Rwanda and Uganda and my side trip to the Mara and Chuylu Hills in Kenya.
The three weeks went by so very fast as time always does while in Africa.
Seeing the gorillas in person is a truly indescribable experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I hope to write up a short trip report in the next few days so I can share my experiences with all of you. Although I'm unfamiliar with posting pics on line, I'll figure out how to share some of my gorilla pics with you too. (If you guys would like to see them)
For now, I'm going to concentrate on getting rid of the jet lag and catching up on the posts in the forum.
It's good to be home (I think ) but my heart is still in Africa. I can't wait to get my next trip put together now!

Ditto to everything Kavey said.
Welcome home and we girls would like to see the gorilla photos too. Try ofoto.com. I figured it out (with Kavey's help the first time), so anyone should be able to. Liz

I am really looking forward to your trip report. I made a similar trip in August 2003, but with Samburu on the end, and I'm curious how your experience compared to mine. I also did a trip report which is buried somewhere on the bottom of this forum.

Thanks for the "welcome homes."
Thit_cho, your report from '03 helped me make the decision to go. And I am so glad I did.
Anyone that has the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures should jump at the chance. Of course, I may be a little biased now.
