Ladies, the e-mails are on their way to you.

I usually wait until I have about 4 to 6 request before I send out a batch unless I have a request that says they're leaving in the next couple of days then I do a "priority" e-mailing.

Hello Alice
I am going by myself for the first time to Egypt. I will be leaving December 15, returning January 2. So far I only have plane tickets, I'll be heading to Aswan first and from there I will go the way to Cairo. Would you please send me your report, and I'm sure it will help me.
Thank you
I look forwar to see you report soon
Taiwan Martinez

Hi Alice,

I am going to try to e-mail you directly for your notes, but if that does not work, please forward them to me. I am going to Egypt/Jordan with OAT (Overseas Adventure Travel) in Jan.-Feb. Obviously am anxious to hear anything that I can. A couple of dinners will be my choice so am looking for some places to take dinner that are unique--hopefully, you will have some suggestons. A pre thank you for your time and efforts!
Hello all, I'll have the notes to you in just moments. I did finally write a Part Six and have just sent it along to everyone who previously requested my notes.

I really can't stress enough to you, though, to read as much as you can from other sources. My very favorite of the 6 or 7 tour books I bought for this trip is Lonely Planet's Egypt. This is not just your ordinary "where to stay and eat" kind of guide, but goes into depth about the Pharaonic sites you will visit. Also very down to earth on what to expect while traveling in Egypt. As I looked around at travellers in Egypt this was the book of choice with most of them.

Now, if you have questions about travelling in Egypt, Fodor's Travel Talk is definitely the place to post it.

Happy Planning, Alice
I'll get the notes off to you both. Enjoy...Alice

P.S. From the responses I have gotten re the e-mails, folks have really enjoyed them and I am so glad that I could be a part of your trip. One lady wrote me that she traveled with a group to Egypt and passed my notes around to everyone on the plane to read. Well, that did make me feel special!! I have enjoyed so much helping fellow travellers on this most exotic of trips so please don't hesitate to ask for the notes. Later... A.C.
I just looked back at my first posting. What was I thinking" (Obviously NOT thinking!!)

MY CORRECT ADDRESS IS:

[email protected]

My apologies to all who tried to reach me.

It was probably that third glass of wine....
Dear Mr. Rawashdeh,
Thank you so much for your generous offer. My mom and I are now planning a trip (via the QE2) to England for next summer (2001) and the next summer (2002) are hoping to get my brothers and sister together for a trip to Ireland and Scotland. I'm afraid a return trip to the Middle East will be some time in coming. It was very nice of you to make such a kind offer.

Best Regards, Alice
