Anyone tested Zambia's new Visa laws?
Has anyone here tested Zambia's new Visa laws?
ie, stayed 14 or more days and been granted a waiver?
We will be there in just over 2 weeks (staying 17 nights)and would be interested if this is being applied to the "letter of the law"?
Cheers
Marc

Hi Marc
I do not know, but I receive a weekly letter from Robin Pope Safaris and at the start it says very clearly that if anyone is travelling to Zambia for more than 14 days, you need a visa. Some countries can get one there, other countries must have a visa before travelling and they advise to check the website for Zambia.
Kind regards
Kaye

Every time I have been to Zambia I have required a visa. The only question beinbg whether you have to pay for it or not, usually yopu do not if you have something from your agent/ camp owners, providing they are owned by Zambians. What changes have occurred?

cooncat2 -- that's the 'special' rate for US citizens - they have to buy a multiple-entry visa. All other nationalities can buy a single-entry visa. Here are the rates, www.zambiaimmigration.gov.zm/zims/VISA_FEES.aspx
