Hi! I'm planning a business trip to the US (dates not confirmed yet) but most likely over the next week or so. Just wondering if any fodorites from this board would like to meet up for a get together? My trip would essentially take me to NYC for a few days and then to California. Couple of days in Fullerton, California and then to the Bay area to visit with a couple of friends.

Count me in. My home is only about 25 miles from Fullerton and my office is only about half that distance.

If you are in town on the weekend perhaps you would even have a chance to come see a championship fight for which I will be a feature writer (I have three such cards coming up, on the 20th, 25th and 27th, and I am usually able to get a free pass for a guest).

If nothing else, it would be great to get together for lunch or dinner one day.

I would be happy to see you in the Los Angeles area. I live in West L.A. which is not particularly close to Fullerton but relative to southern Africa . . . .
I wouldn't be able to drive as far as Fullerton because I just had surgery on my foot (the better to go on those walking outings) but I can get around fairly locally. What dates do you expect to be in Southern California?

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm still waiting to hear about my possible meetings and dates. I am hoping to be in NYC between 22-25. In California early June.
