Bus vs train vs Grad Taxi vs hired driver for Tangier>Fez, Fez>Marrakech?
Sorry for double-post - forgot to tag the original with Morocco and can't seem to go back and edit.
Any recommendations? Also, if train/bus should we get tix in advance or just book day of or day-before, perhaps through our hotel? And if Grand Taxi/hired car should we book privately/at taxi stand, or through our riad? The riads we've booked all have fabulous reviews for service. We're traveling last half of October.
We traveled Seville> Barcelona via train many years ago and I loved seeing aspects of the country you don't see from the road. But that was a while ago, and we have never traveled in Morocco before. We've also gone the hired driver route in Belize and Italy and it was great to have a bit of a tour while migrating.
So, any tips or recommendations?
TIA - R.

I always take the train when there are trains, and there are between those cities, convenient, comfortable, inexpensive. Buses when there aren’t trains, grand taxis when there aren’t trains or buses. I like to buy tickets as soon as it’s convenient to get them, have never experienced a sold-out train that way though some full ones.
