A Seychelles Question

May I pick your brains, please...

Has anyone stayed or heard anything about the small hotel on Seychelles, Le Jardin des Palmes, formerly known, I think, as "The Palm Resort."

It is on the Southwestern side of Mahe.

lynnejoel - no I haven't heard of this hotel, and it's not listed in my book, but then my book is a few years old. The southwest side of Mahe is also aways from much activity, but remote can be nice. Does the hotel have air conditioning? This is tres important.

I'd ask for more information on this hotel from the tour operator who is offering the package. And as previous reply mentioned, its a good idea to spend time on more than one island.

It is about 3 years old and locate high on a hill overlooking Anse a la Mouche. Owned by the son of the new president of Seychelles. They have 5 2-bedroom units, excellent pool and common areas. A few restaurants are nearby.

I should note, the rooms are 2-bedroom but they often sell them as 2 independent 1-bedroom units.

Some day I'll learn to get everything into one post!

Yes, they are air conditioned.
