Glad to see it all came together.

Question: In NBO on 8/18 & 19 - is that the Fairview or Fairmont? The Fairmont Hotels owns the Norfolk Hotel. Are you staying at the Norfolk? or the Fairview? Both are lovely though different. The Fairview is wonderful with their gardens, family owned since the 40s. Enlarged over the years.

Looks great. Pardon the ignorance. What is ITT?

I'm working on 2008 so don't feel bad.

The trip a great Christmas present.

13moons-
Looks like a great trip!

Be aware that they haven't even broken ground on the governor's camp in Rwanda yet. So have a back-up plan just in case.
I'm heading over there in a few weeks and I'll check out the situation while there and report back in.

HI Sandi,
I am staying at the Fairview not the Norfolk.

And with regards to new Gov's Camp in Rwanda, yes, I am most curious what anyone learns. I have been told that all is moving according to plan and that the official opening party will be in June. (My trip is in mid August.) but if anyone has any dirrect fe3edback it will be most welcome. I woiuld hate to find myself with permits and no place to hang my hat!

I emailed the company about Silverback Lodge. This is what they responded with -

"We still have got the exact date of opening and are currently taking provisional bookings for September.
Kind regards

Ms Anjali Shah - Governors' Camp
International Sales
Please have a look at our e-brochure on our website.
SKYPE NAME: ANGIESHAH"

I am thinking maybe she forgot to say "still have not got the exact....

We are hoping to stay there in October 2007.
