Baltimore Restaurant - romantic & walking distance from Inner Harbor
My husband and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary in June. We're leaving the kids and heading to Baltimore for a short trip to celebrate. I'm looking for romantic restaurant recommendations. We'll be staying near the Inner Harbor/Aquarium and won't have a car, so something that is not too far of a walk/metro ride/water taxi ride would be ideal.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Congratulations. Roy's Hawaiian Fusion near the Inner Harbor is great!!

Congratulations! I live in Baltimore near the Inner Harbor. I've never been to Roy's or La Tavola so I can't comment on them. Kali's Court has good food, nicely decorated, with lively atmosphere.
If you want really romantic near the Inner Harbor, I would strongly recommend Charleston. It is also generally considered the best restaurant in Baltimore, so it is pricey as well. But it is well worth it--the Chef has been nominated for a James Beard award and the wine list is amazing. When you make a reservations, tell them the occasion and they will make every effort to seat you in one of the more romantic areas of the restaurant (though I don't think there are any bad tables).
Another recommendation if you can't get reservations for Charleston or prefer Italian, is Cinghiale--just around the corner from Charleston. There are 2 sections at Cinghiale, one is the less formal, but more lively and louder Enoteca, and the other is the more formal, more expensive, but quieter and more romantic Osteria. Both have wonderful food.

I like Pazo, but I would not describe it as a place to have a romantic dinner. It is more of a bar/lounge/restaurant. It is huge and lively, it has great atmosphere and is gorgeous, and the food is good. But to me it is more of a place to go with a group of friends for drinks and a some tasty small plates than a romantic dinner for two. It is known more for its bar scene than for its dining (though, as I mentioned, the food is good).
I haven't been to Miss Irene's. I've heard good things about Aldo's too, but haven't been there.

Hi, ebflo!
I manage the dining room at Miss Irene's and I think you owe it to yourself to have dinner with us on your anniversary.
You see, what you get from us is this kind of personal service. We love our restaurant and enjoy nothing more than sharing it others. Baltimore Magazine calls it "possibly one of Baltimore's most romantic restaurants" with "arguably the best vista of the harbor in Fells Point". Mind you, this is the same review that implied I'm an idiot who knows nothing about our menu (I actually know quite a lot about our menu!) so never believe everything you read! Feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any questions. Hope to see you soon.

My wife and I had a fantastic romantic dinner at the Blue Sea Grill

The atmosphere is tropical and relaxing, but intimate at the same time. The food was exquisite and the service was excellent. The most impressive part was when we received a hand written note a few days later from our server. I have never experienced that before.Good luck and Bon Appetite!
