Chocolate in Frankfurt?????
I am in Frankfurt on business and would like to bring home some (very good) chocolate to my girlfriend. I really dont care about price (hey she is worth it), but I do want the best I can get. Address and directions to the store would be great. I am staying at the Manhattan Hotel across from the train station!

ask the hotel and they will direct you to a good shop...i would not rely on the airport....i just got ripped off on a purchase at frankfurt duty free....my own fault but never the less it was not a bargain....

Personally I like the brands of Lindt and Feodora.
Both are widely available in stores (although Feodora might be a bit harder to find, even though they are wrapped in bright yellow), especially big department stores like Karstadt, Hertie or Kaufhof should carry them.
They are a bit more expensive than others, but very tasty.

You can't get Swiss or Belgium chocolate in Frankfurt? You've probably never been to the Kaufhof department store in Frankfurt - a mind boggling variety of chocolate and candy. And if you want Belgium chocolate, just take a trip to the nearest mall in the U.S. and pick up some Godiva.
There were stacks of Feodora chocolate at the Frankfurt airport the last time I flew out. Reasonably priced as well.
