Packing Champagne for checked luggage
I am going to France and want to bring some champagne back, does anyone have some foolproof ideas of how to pack it in my checked bag? Wondering if it's any different than packing wine due to the pressure in the bottle.
Thanks for your ideas Fodorites!

First, nothing is foolproof!
I have brought champagne home enclosed in a JetBag or Wine Diaper via checked bag without any problem. There's no guarantee that it will arrive in good condition though; you just take your chances. As far as pressure inside the bottle, I have never had a bottle explode or crack.
