Mont St Michel
We have a a group of 9 visiting Mt St Michel in late March of next year (from our base in Bayeux), I have a couple of questions that I am hoping for help with?
a) With the Mt. be crowded that time of year?
b) Is there a best time of day to go? Morning? Afternoon?
c) Is it appropriate/feasible to reserve tours ahead of time?
Thanks,
Rick

We went in late Oct and it was not THAT crowded when we arrived - but by the time we were walking back down from the Abbey the street was like the ground floor of Macy's at Christmas.
Not sure about reserved tickets - time would depend on how long it takes you to climb up all the way to the entrance of the Abbey ( a long steep climb on cobblestones).

My last trip there was for the night in the hotel zone just across from the Mont. I really liked it.
