Transfers from Naples to Positano and then transfer options
My husband and I will be arriving at Naples airport late Sept. and would like a driver to Positano hotel. Has anyone used a car transfer for this particular transfer they would without hesitancy recommend?
Also, when leaving Positano, our first wish would be to leave by sea on ferry/boat early (by 7 to 8 AM) to Salerno's smaller train station to catch the fast train to Rome. We won't have much time for our first time in Rome and would like to have a good part of the day when we arrive. Co-op St Andrea on-line time schedule first ferry from Positano is at 10:00am on the day we leave, putting us too late for the fast trains in the morning to Rome. Have considerered private ferry/boat for transfer here, but really don't know who/where to proceed. Don't want to do bus for any of this. Again any recommendations here would also be appreciated.
If we have to get a car tranfer, may just have to go back to Naples and the train station, although for one with limited Italian who's never been on a train, that seems a bit daunting.
All that said, would greatly appreciate some input from those of you who are much more familiar with all of this than me.
TIA

In June I used Sergio Rianna (email is [email protected]) and would highly recommend him. He picked me up at NAP and it was a nice ride to Pos. We used him a couple of times while in Positano (to get to San Pietro hotel for drinks, etc.) and then again to get us back to NAP.
If you want to get to Rome as early as possible, I would use Sergio to get to the Naples train station. You can book your tickets ahead of time and print out your voucher at home and bring it with you. Or I am sure Sergio would be happy to help you buy tickets at the train station.

Thanks EKC! In writing my query, I had pretty much decided Naples would probably make the most sense, but sometimes you need a little shove to jump. Your knowledge and insight are greatly appreciated.

In July, we hired a driver from guemartravel.com, based in Sorrento to handle our transfers- Naples to Positano and return. We were really happy with the driver and service, and got excellent rates for the transfers.
