Gift for a French Boy
We will be visiting with our French friends when we are in Paris next month. We always bring a gift for their son (age 7), but this year I am all out of ideas. Any suggestions?
I would like to get him something American -- something that he could not easily get in Paris. He is studying English in school. Thanks for your help!

I especially like the dreamcatcher idea! I am also thinking of getting him a children's book written in English (maybe one of the Richard Scarry books). Thank you all for your suggestions!

cheap apple.com products or amazon.com readers would give him
lots of flexibility to download different music educational and game apps.Readers or iPods from $50 like the shuffle have always beena hit with kids in that age group for me.But
might check on what he already has all available over there.

There you go cocofromdijon, they used to be made by Native Americans (who knows now) If you're getting him a dreamcatcher be sure to buy one made in the US, not china.
