Travel with small companies/women only

My husband has said he is finished traveling....but I've got lots of "wonderlust" and still want to travel Any suggestions/recommendations about groups/trours/travel agencies...that are specifically for women?

Thanks...Judi

Odd, methinks. But try "wanderlust" instead of 'wonder'. You can do it yourself, with friends. I travelled to Europe and Greece for 6 weeks one time by myself. Met folks along the way and kind of glommed on to them
How old are you. Where do you want to go. Children to go with you.

AND of course, any tour to anywhere you want to go will take you, and many will be overpopulated with women whose husbands are 'gone". Just sign up.

A few ideas -

I just learned the the Fat Tire Bike Company in Paris does a women's week. I took the night tour of Paris with them and it was a blast!

If kayaking in the San Juans is of interest to you, they do a women's only tour. It's on my bucket list -

Not necessarily women only but my sister and I hope to spend a week in Julia Child's home in Provence with this cooking class -

I'm sure there are women only tours but I agree with Gretchen it's easy to travel on your own. And, a lot of tours have more women than men.

Don't understand what is odd about my comments.....using laptop and spelling may not be correct...but u do get the idea. I'm at the point where I don't want to plan anymore of my travels...have done that for years...Have travelled extensively and all independent travel. Now want someone else to do the planning....I'll figure it out...I'm quite resourceful..despite being a senior citizen.

There are hundreds of companies who offer women only tours - its a growing market - I have done a bike and Barge trip in the South of France with one, two weeks in Morocco with Venus Adventures, sea kayaking in the Bay of Island NZ with another and I planning a trip to Vietnam later this year. perfect for women travelling alone.

see http://www.womentravel.info for information about a lot of these companies and for their tours.
