Le Sud

Le Sud Review

This French restaurant inside the fancy Sofitel Hotel is one of the nicest in the city. Smart, warm service coupled with an elegant and refined atmosphere make for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Start off with a duck paté with plum chutney or prawns sautéed in tequila and honey. A top entrée is the merluza negra (black hake) with ginger butter, citrus, and a white wine reduction, or Patagonian lamb loins with mashed potatoes and white truffles. If you order the tender ojo de bife, you're made to feel like royalty by choosing your own ornate stainless-steel knife with handles made of deer hoofs and horns, one of the many small touches that make this restaurant so special.
