The Sofitel's flagship eatery blows away every other French restaurant in Buenos Aires -- and that's really saying something. Chef Thierry Pszonka, the recipient of numerous culinary accolades in his native France, came over a few years ago to contribute his own brand of nouvelle cuisine to the Argentine dining landscape in this careful and elegant dining room. The results have been nothing less than spectacular, from an amuse-bouche of soothing chicken liver mousse to a dish of sensationally tender braised sweetbreads glazed with a silky brown sauce.
