Mansion Dandi Royal

Fodor's Review:

For a glimpse into early-20th-century high society, look no farther than this hotel. Owner and tango legend Hector Villalba painstakingly transformed this 100-year-old mansion into both a hotel and a tango academy. The 15 exquisite rooms are decorated with classic wood furnishings and period murals. A stunning chandelier, a sweeping staircase, and original artwork lend still more authenticity. Tango lessons take place daily in the gorgeous dance hall, and every evening the staff accompanies dancers to milongas, all-night tango parties that take place all over town.
