Las Cuartetas Review

Not known for its decor, this spot is packed with locals who come here for the coal-fired deep-dish pizza—a style not common to this city. Even less common, but in this spot not unusual: older men and/or women dining alone at the rickety Formica tables that fill the room. Not to be missed is their spinach and white-sauce pizza, and for the meat eaters the española, layered with longaniza sausage, BA's answer to pepperoni. Service is spotty, and it can take a while to get anyone's attention, and friendliness is not the first order of the day, but the wait and the attitude won't matter once you sink your fork into one of their slices.
