This atmospheric corner building with greenery tumbling over wrought-iron balconies has what is unquestionably the best view of Plaza Dorrego. It shouldn't be your first choice for a full meal, as there are far better options pretty much anywhere, but do stop in for coffee and a pastry or a beer and a dish of peanuts. Then sit back and people-watch. Given the century-old decor and grime, the nose-in-the-air attitude of the waiters is far misplaced.
