Cantinetta Seattle Review
This large but welcoming candlelit space in a residential area south of Wallingford's main drag continues to welcome loads of hungry patrons night after night. They come for chic, delicious, and romantic Italian dining, friendly service, and a certain rustic flair—there's an undeniable soul to this place. Couples and small groups sip wine in the bustling bar area while waiting for a table at which to enjoy the housemade pastas—perhaps served with nettle and pine nuts, crème fraîche and a farm egg, or baby carrots, ramps, and pork. Risotto dishes are toothsome, and secondi offerings—from a sublime Painted Hills steak with polenta to locally made sausage with cassouletta—are memorable.
