Best Western East Zion Thunderbird Lodge Review

About 13 miles east of Zion National Park, this red-adobe motel is a good option if you want to be within an hour's drive of Bryce Canyon National Park. Nestled in the foothills of the Zion Mountains and bordered by a scenic golf course, the hotel has rooms that are spacious and bright.

    Resort?

A resort where the restaurant closes at 8:00... Where the pool and hot tub are closed for the winter?
I have several complaints about this hotel... let me list - -Loud clanking pipes from every room. -Radiant heat that was too hot or too cold -No bathtub (or only for very short people) After finding out the hot tub and pool were shut down for the winter I was excited to get into the tub... nope. -Television sound was out of whack- loud or mute are the only two options. -Half the TV stations were bad (static, no sound) -The restaurant made me sick (hard to deal with when hiking). I have never eaten worse restaurant food in my life. Don't get the fried rice and sweet and sour pork. They were also out of several items that I wanted. -I could hear very clear spoken conversations from the room next door. -The blankets were tucked in by the housekeeping to fit a small child.
This was my worst hotel experience.
