The folks here know how to play house better than anyone else in town. This 1936 East Austin home has been converted into one of the city’s coolest shops—each room is fittingly filled with goods you’d find at your (or at least your friend or neighbor's) home. The kitchen pantry is stocked with Stumptown coffee and well-designed jars of spreads, granola, and marmalades; cool vintage clothes, locally made jewelry, and home goods feel cozy in the living room; and earthy scrubs smelling of rosemary and lavender line the bathroom counter. The on-site café opens earlier (8 am) than the rest of the store, so if you’re an early bird, you can grab a cup of Joe while you're waiting.
