Coolidge General Store

All of the lodges in Custer State Park have small stores, but the park's main retail outlet is the larger Coolidge General Store. Named for President Calvin Coolidge because it was built in 1927 ahead of his vacation in the park, this structure is packed with a wide selection of locally themed apparel and books, plus personal-care products, basic groceries, beverages, quick food items, and supplies for camping and fishing.

A local staple since 1996, this store sells a wide variety of natural foods, vitamins, supplements, herbs, gluten-free foods, organic produce, and personal-care products. Honey, from local producers and around the globe, is a specialty.

Morris Grand Gallery

Fine art from Native Americans and other Western-themed artists is beautifully displayed and sold in one of the grandest old structures in Hot Springs, the 1911 Morris Grand Theater, built by a Russian-Jewish immigrant jeweler. The art includes paintings, pottery, and sculpture, while decorative rocks, minerals, and jewelry are also available.

The Farm Stand at Bear Butte Gardens

A local couple uses this country retail location with a view of Bear Butte looming out the front door to sell produce, eggs, meat, and other products from their own certified organic farm.
