The first restaurant opened by prolific restaurateurs Marcie Turney and Valerie Safan, Lolita has evolved over the years from a scrappy Mexi-esque BYOB to the slick, sophisticated (and liquor-licensed) Midtown Village cantina it is today. The street food--influenced menu includes specialty guacamoles; seafood small plates, like Veracruz octopus tostadas; and all manner of creative tacos on house-made tortillas, with a build-your-own “taquizas” option for the table.
