Fodor's Expert Review Alameda Brewhouse
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
With light wood, high ceilings, and stretches of stainless steel, this spacious neighborhood microbrewery feels chic while managing to remain friendly and casual. Many people come for the smooth microbrews produced on-site—including the award-winning Black Bear XX Stout—but the food is worth a look, too. With creative pasta dishes such as artichoke-mushroom linguine, salmon gyros, tuna tacos, and delicious burgers, it seems this brewpub puts nearly as much thought into its menu as its ales.
