Loretta Charles' Natural Wood Grill

Fodor's Review:

Most dishes involve seafood at this New American restaurant overlooking Esopus Creek. The dining room is rustic, with picture windows with water views and a wood-burning fireplace. The blackboard menu, which changes weekly, might include Thai-style grilled shrimp with chilies and garlic served with basmati rice. The food is all grilled over hickory and cherrywood, and entrées come with at least four vegetables. A piano player entertains at an upright in the dining room Friday and Saturday nights.
