Quogue Wildlife Refuge. At the 300-acre wildlife preserve, managed by the State Department of Environmental Conservation, you can bird-watch, hike along a self-guided trail, or visit a complex where injured animals are rehabilitated. There's also a nature center with exhibits and a library.
