Cedar Point Park. Popular among campers, this 607-acre county park has commanding views of Gardiner's Bay. Here visitors seeking an alternative to the East Hampton beach or Main Street shopping scene will find miles of nature trails for hiking and biking, rowboat rentals, a large playground, surfcasting for bass or bluefish, waterfowl hunting, and a beautiful lighthouse accessible via a narrow trail. The Cedar Point General Store and Snack Bar offers quick bites and sit-down fare as well as camping and outdoor supplies. On Saturday nights in-season the Kaelin family shows family movies on the lawn behind the store and offers free use of recreational equipment.
