The Rocks Estate

The Rocks Estate Review

The rambling rock walls and beautifully restored historic buildings of The Rocks Estate, built by John Jacob Glessner of International Harvester, now serves as the 1,400-acre North Country Conservation and Education Center for the Forest Society. The property is open year-round with a variety of natural-history programs, self-guided tours, and hiking trails with excellent views of the Presidential Range. In winter, you'll find cross-country ski trails and a select-your-own Christmas tree farm. In spring, watch syrup being made in the New Hampshire Maple Experience Museum.
