It may sound like a mixed metaphor—an Asian restaurant in Paris—but France's Buddha Bar has achieved world fame for its food and its music. The associated Little Buddha in the swanky Palms Casino continues the mystique, albeit with sometimes-iffy service. The kitchen produces such Pacific Rim wonders as Hawaiian smoked pot stickers; wok-fried salt and pepper calamari and frogs' legs; grilled lobster tail with citrus-butter sauce; spicy albacore and yellowtail rolls; and curry shrimp in banana leaf. There's also plenty of great sushi and sashimi. Finish things off with liquid-center chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.
