Devotees of this hip basement restaurant swear by the no-fuss options such as a truly addictive macaroni and cheese, meat loaf, and steak tips. Among the more-interesting offerings are the appetizers, such as the spicy Caesar salad, and the fish of the day, which might be trout amandine or locally caught bluefish. The wine list is compact but varied and retains one of the lowest mark-ups in the city.

Basement level restaurant and bar that serves a solid yet hip take on comfort food classics (mac and cheese, meatloaf, etc.). Wine prices are a bargain at just $10 above retail cost. Capable service, too. A hidden jewel worth finding.
