Fodor's Review

Families favor this spot that looks like a big brick ship docked in Boston Harbor. It's close to great group outing locales like the New England Aquarium and the shops and restaurants of Quincy Market. Even the North End isn't far, if you're willing to walk a bit. Manicured Christopher Columbus Park is right outside the door, with myriad walkways and wisteria-covered archways. And then there's the Marriott's great swimming pool, overlooking the harbor, plus a huge newly

renovated gym with state-of-the-art cardio and weight equipment. Rooms are decorated in cream-and-gold brocade with pillow-top mattresses, open onto a five-story atrium. Some rooms have views of the park, harbor, or the aquarium. Clean-freak alert: plush feather duvets on the beds are changed every night and allergy-friendly rooms are available. The sleek on-site Waterline Restaurant and Bar and nearby Quincy Market offers plenty of dining options.

Boston Harbor Hotel Experience

First experience at this hotel. Stayed on Concierge Level (top floor). Rooms had "partial" view of harbor since we were further away from the lounge area which overlooks the Harbor. The staff in the lounge area was attentive to our needs and very friendly. Definitely worth the extra money. Only problem was with having our room cleaned. On two of the our days there, our room was not cleaned until 3:30/4:00 in the afternoon which was an inconvenience

for us.

Great location for touring, harbor views

No complaints about the spacious, clean room typical of newer Marriotts, but I reserve a 5 rating for the most outstanding hotels. Good on-site restaurant, but you are in easy walking distance of spots in the Italian North End and Faneuil Hall. Nice lounge view. I got a good package price on my last visit, but it can be expensive.

A View of the Harbor

I stayed at this hotel for two separate visits. The first time I was able to get a view of the water from the top level. It was very lovely, the room had a beach feel and the soaps were all Bath&Body Works! My second visit, I couldn't get a top level room, so the atmosphere was not as nice. All in all, I really like the Long Wharf Marriott. My only bone to pick is that they never brought my breakfast on time per my request and as a result I was

late to several meetings. I'd skip the room service breakfast and grab something at the many open cafes in the North End area.
