It's impossible not to love J.P.'s hippy cool hangout, where neighborhood residents pack the limited number of tables and local artwork fills the walls. The eclectic menu veers from ethnic inspirations like Asian-inspired Shrimp Nirvana to inventive salads brimming with local produce. There is even the perennial favorite, "Slacker's Breakfast," a choice of four options including three egg dishes and French toast served with fruit and real maple syrup, offered until 3 pm. Lines snake around the block every Saturday and Sunday for the spectacular (and spectacularly filling) brunch.
