Fodor's Review

Old Shanghai meets stylish South Boston at TV-star chef Ming Tsai's über-popular Asian gastropub, set in an abandoned triangular diner in the Fort Point neighborhood. The cool younger brother of Tsai's more elegant first restaurant, Blue Ginger, Blue Dragon has all the auspicious feng shui elements intact: wooden furniture; a mirrored waterfall by the tree-trunk bar; and a dragon weather vane to elevate the squat white-brick building. Folks regularly form lines around the block in order to slurp up Tsai's East-meets-West cocktails and share succulent braised short-rib pot stickers, spicy Dan Dan noodles, tiny teriyaki bison cheeseburgers, and garlic–black pepper lobster. Craving something sweet? Don't miss the warm, deep-dish chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream and soy caramel sauce.
