Maine Lighthouse Museum

Fodor's Review:

The museum displays the largest collection of the famed Fresnel lighthouse lenses to be found anywhere in the world. It also displays a collection of lighthouse artifacts and Coast Guard memorabilia. Sharing the same building is the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, where tourists and visitors can pick up maps and area information.

  • Cost: $5
  • Open: Weekdays 9-5, weekends 10-4
