Fodor's Review:
Excalibur won't win any prizes for breaking new ground, but this River North nightclub complex, carved out of the Romanesque fortress that was the original home of the Chicago Historical Society, has been going strong for years with its mix of dancing, dining, and posing. At the same address and phone number but with a separate entrance is the smaller, alternative-dance club Vision. Deejays and music styles change regularly (consequently, so does the club's vibe), so be sure to call ahead for information on the night's selections.
