Just beyond mile marker 10 on the Hana Highway, the Garden of Eden Arboretum offers interpretive trails through 26 acres of manicured gardens. Those with a green thumb will appreciate the care and attention given to the more than 500 varieties of tropical plants—many of them native. Trails lead to the lovely Puohokamoa Falls, and provide a glimpse into the botanical wonders that thrive in this lush region. If it has rained recently, Waikamoi Falls (also near mile marker
10) provides a chilly pool for swimming.
