Fodor's Review

Villas with terra cotta–tile roofs are set amid landscaped lagoons and waterfalls at the edge of the championship Waikoloa Village Golf Course. The spacious villas and condo units—ground and upper floors are available separately—are privately owned, so furnishings vary from unit to unit. Sliding glass doors open onto large lanai, and picture windows look out onto rolling green fairways. All units have complete kitchens with washer-dryers, and come with maid service.

Check the website for separate online-booking rates and specials. A daily $10 amenity fee includes Wi-Fi, newspaper, parking, coffee, and security safe.

There was a 4 hour timer on the air conditioning in my unit and I was told by the management office this was typical of the majority of the units. This means you spend your vacation sleeping in 4 hour blocks and when the temperature becomes unbearable you get up in total darkness in a strange environment and go to the living room to reset the timer. The timers have been installed to save on the electric bills of the unit owners. What kind of MORON

rations air conditioning in 4 hour blocks in a unit described as a luxury accomodation with a price point in excess of $200 per night?
