The best part of this bed-and-breakfast near Kealakekua Bay is the fabulous gourmet breakfast prepared by proprietors Ken and Erin. Rolling out their kitchen's red carpet, the team fixes a varied menu that includes frittatas, scones, quiche, omelets, French toast, fresh fruit, and sautéed veggies. Five air-conditioned rooms are available, two of which are detached from the main house in the Ohana Cottage. Lunch at Kalama's, a roadside café, is within walking distance, and the bay is a short hike down the hill. There are nice views of the bay from the swimming pool, plus a gated entrance.
