Boat and Ferry Travel

Cumberland Island and Sapelo Island are accessible only by ferry or private launch. The Cumberland Queen II serves Cumberland Island (the National Park Service has a Cumberland Island ferry schedule at www.nps.gov/cuis/planyourvisit/hours.htm), and the Katie Underwood serves Sapelo Island. Advance reservations are advised for Cumberland, but they are required for passage to Sapelo.
