Savannah Bananas. Since 2016, the Savannah Bananas have entertained locals and made national headlines for their bright yellow uniforms and unabashed sense of fun . A Bananas game is more than an athletic event: it's entertainment and camaraderie, with plenty of activities for the kids, dancing players, and lots of banana-themed snacks. Craft beers and all-you-can-eat passes make this a favorite local pastime. If you've never seen a banana with abs, keep an eye out for mascot Split, who proudly cheers on the Coastal Plain League team, made up of college-aged boys of summer. The Bananas' home, historic Grayson Stadium, is one of the country's oldest minor league stadiums in the country; legends including Babe Ruth have run its bases. The season runs May through August; although many games list as sold out, you can often score a ticket if you just show up. 1401 E.
