Toucan Café

Toucan Café Review

Well worth a trip a bit off the beaten path to Savannah's Southside, this colorful café has a light and cheery, Tropical-inspired interior that invites good times with good food and good company. The menu, ranging from Caribbean to Mediterranean, defines the term eclectic. There are appealing options for both vegetarians and meat eaters, including wasabi pea–encrusted tuna, tempura portobellos, black-bean burgers, spanakopita, Jamaican jerk chicken, and rib-eye steaks. The regular menu is generally priced a little lower than the daily specials, but the specials usually have more flare.
